"Entering objects" is to train the dog to jump up and catch items in the air. Including dog owners’ snacks, small balls, rusks, etc. (Forget it if you have socks and torn towels~). This exercise is the basis of many subsequent exercises~ For example, "Catch Frisbee" training, it cannot be separated from it:
1. First, tear off a piece of bread, about the size of a lighter, call the dog to the front, and when it looks at you and the bag in your hand, shout: "Be careful!" Stop for a few seconds, and then shout "Catch". (If it is windy outdoors, you can also use heavier jerky and other snacks instead.)
2. Then throw a parabola at the dog. Because the bread is lighter, it will fall slowly. This gives the dog time to react and make movements. Pay attention to the position about 10 cm on the dog's head. It is also important to note that if the dog does not catch it and falls to the ground, it should be stopped immediately, but pick it up again and throw it again. This is very important! Tell the dog very clearly: If you don’t catch it, you won’t have to eat it!
3. At the beginning, the dog would only have his front legs off the ground, because the height at the beginning was not very high, and the dog's front legs could be caught off the ground. If the dog can catch it, then start reducing the size of the bread to half the size of a lighter. If the dog is skillfully caught it, start pressing the bread with his hands and kneading it into a round one. This method is to make the object move faster and faster, thereby improving the dog's judgment and speed.
4. If the dog can catch an object as big as dog food, the dog owner needs to throw it higher and guide the dog's hind legs off the ground, and there is no need to throw it directly on the dog's head: throw it on the left side of the dog's head and then on the right side of the dog's head. These can guide the dog's hind legs off the ground.
5. As long as you train more, the dog should be able to master the key points of this training in half a day.
Training Key Points:
1. Be sure to shout "Attention" before throwing something. This password is very important and is to improve the dog's attention.
2. Don’t train too many times at the beginning, because this movement requires a lot of physical strength to consume the dog, so it’s enough for about 10 times at the beginning, and then slowly increase it later. If you find that the dog is unhappy to jump, then stop training immediately.
3. When the dog finishes his movements, don’t forget to give snacks immediately as encouragement.
