Gold velvet fabric cleaning method

1. Dry cleaning

Before washing velvet clothes, use a clean soft brush to remove dust from the velvet surface, then put it in gasoline and gently rub it. For dirtier areas, you can knead them for a few times. After washing, squeeze out a large amount of gasoline on the surface, then wrap it with a dry bath towel, gently squeeze it, and try to suck the gasoline in the remaining fabric onto the towel, shake the clothes a few times after opening it, and dry them flat; you can also spread the clothes flat on the table, dip the gasoline with a soft brush dipped in gasoline, and then brush it and dry it.

2. Washing

First rinse away the dust with clean water, then put it in the water soaked with detergent, and knead it gently, do not use a washboard or brown brush; when washing, do not soak it in the washing liquid halfway, as it will damage the fiber structure of the fabric and will easily fade; after rinsing, it is not advisable to twist it hard, you can place it on a flat plate and gently squeeze out the moisture, and finally put it in a cool place to air dry.

3. Plush lofting restoration method

If a fabric with a small area such as a fleece collar falls over, you can place it on the spout of a boiling pot and smoke it with hot steam. Brush it with a brush while frying, and the fluff will stand up; if the area of ​​the fabric is large, you can boil a basin of water and place the fabric on the water surface to steam it. Be careful not to be too close to the water surface, about 6 to 9 cm away. When frying, brush the place where the fleece will be smoked as before, and restore its beauty.
